Optimum Sizing of Photovoltaic-Battery Power Supply for Drone-Based Cellular Networks

چکیده

In order to provide Internet access rural areas and places without a reliable economic electricity grid, self-sustainable drone-based cellular networks have recently been presented. However, the difficulties of power consumption mission planning lead challenge optimal sizing supply for future telecommunication networks. deal with this challenge, paper presents an approach photovoltaic (PV)-battery in remote areas. The main objective suggested is minimize total cost, including capital operational expenditures. framework applied off-grid network base stations that are powered by PV-battery systems-based recharging sites location. system optimally designed three different profiles peak cumulative loads. Results show design dependent on geographical data, solar irradiation, ambient temperature, which affect output PV system, as well profile, affects required number panels battery capacity.
